No. 3: THE ART OF ASSEMBLAGE
Eric Gauthier was introduced to wine tasting by Pierre Casamayor (oenologist and journalist at the RVF) at the Toulouse School of Oenology in the 1990s, then learned the art of wine blending from Robert Brunel.
He often compares this discipline to a high-level sport, requiring rigour, daily training, and a combination of physical and intellectual effort.
With over 30 years of experience, Eric considers assembly to be an art form, influenced by emotion, memory and context.

No. 5: DISCOVERY TASTING
At our company, taste plays an essential role in our daily lives. Every week, during our ‘discovery’ tasting session, we explore a selection of rums together in order to refine our ability to savour strong alcoholic beverages. It’s like a workout for the senses! We sometimes diversify the experience with chocolates, black peppers, teas or coffees to broaden our palette. This practice strengthens our team spirit and cultivates our values: taste, sharing and discovery.
